THE RIDDLE OF JUTLAND by Langhorne Gibson &
Vice-Admiral J. E. T. Harper WITH AN INTRODUCTION BY SIR ARCHIBALD HURD 1st. 1934 Cassell & Co. Ltd., London
A navy cloth bound book with gilt titles to spine and front board. Some shelf wear, both front board corners badly bumped (see image below). Page block bright, clean and tight except for first and last few pages which have some foxing. Top edge is dyed blue. The back board has a pocket to accommodate the fourteen folded battle diagrams but over the years the outside edge has split along half its length but the diagrams are in excellent condition. A tight and square copy in VERY GOOD condition let down a little by the corner bumping.
