THE DIARY OF A RUM-RUNNER by Alastair Moray was published at the height of prohibition in the United States. Smuggling continued after the repeal, and of course will do where there is money to be made avoiding paying duty. ‘A crazy ship, a mutinous crew, vile weather, revenue men and 'hi-jackers' - such are the incidents in the life of a rum-runner’.

A full-size facsimile wrapper which is available free on request with purchase.

The Nelson page provides icons, usually adapted from the the covers, as links to books with Admiral Lord Nelson as the subject, a battle in which he played a prominent part or a warship associated with him or if of particular merit, a book that refers particularily to his period.
