Book with decorated boards, with sharp corners, top and bottom of spine lightly bumped - some rubbing and shelf wear. School Prize plate to front paste down dated 1909 and school ink stamp to ffep. Page.
Predominately very clean, bright and tight with very little foxing. A VERY GOOD condition copy.

I do not charge for packaging.
My stated postage prices are an estimate.
If you are interested in a book on my site I will package it and weigh it and quote the true postage cost if less than estimated, or stand by my estimate if it is more.
Estimated postage costs are usually based on Royal Mail First class prices for UK on items valued at less than £41 but extra costs may be involved with more expensive items. Outside the UK postage costs are for basic Royal Mail Airmail.
Any preferences concerning postage/delivery by the purchaser will always be considered.

My returns policies

If you wish to return a book please let me know as soon as possible but no later than three days after receipt. 
If you feel, and I agree after we have discussed it, that my description was misleading or inaccurate then, upon the receipt of the book in the condition you received it, I will then refund all your payment plus your return postage. 
If the book isn't what you really wanted and if we agree, then, upon my receipt of the book in the condition you received it, I will then refund your bid price. I have found, so far, that the majority of my buyers are genuine. For my part I try and describe the books as fairly as possible - I am not a professional - and do not like buyers to feel dissatisfied.  I am happy to pack together multiple buys made within a seven day period and post at cost as long as total value of purchases in the packet does not exceed the Royal Mail's built in compensation, which at the moment is £41.00.

The Log of the Flying Fish: A Story of Aerial and Submarine Peril and Adventure by Harry Collingwood. Illustrated in b&w by Gordon Browne Published before 1910 by Blackie and Son, London. This book was one of the first science fiction genre to be published and has since been reprinted as an eBook and a paperback. This particular copy is probably only in GOOD condition.

Ltd., London.Written in the 1900s set in 1980's! Has submarines, 300 knot ram-battleships - still using coal, the Russians invading Scotland, The Kaiser a prisoner in Edinburgh Castle, the German Navy trying to annihilate the Royal Navy in the North Sea and the French Navy , similarly employed, in Mediterranean !
